Well NaNoFiMo is nearly here, i hope you have your novels at the ready. Either to add an extra 30,000 words or even to finish a novel. Due to the first Monday of NaNoFiMo being a bank holiday, we won’t be meeting up as Fresh Ground will be closed. We will be meeting up the following Monday which will be the 9th January.

I’ve just created a scribbles IRC chatroom on my home server. It can be accessed using any IRC client, if you don’t have a permanent one http://www.mibbit.com/ is good to use.

It will eventually have its own bot called Thetis but he’s offline at the moment. When he’s up and running I’ll get him to start word wars. If any one can think of any thing else you’d like him to do, leave a comment.

Some of us from the Belper Nano group decided to try and form a more permanent writing group at Fresh Grounds 61 King Street, Belper, DE56 1QA every other monday from 4 till 10pm.
The idea is just to create an easy atmosphere to write in, as well as set monthly challenges to try and encourage and motivate.
